Having a hearty appetite for learning, Gale earned numerous degrees and certificates over her collegiate tenure in several fields of study. Being a “Jill of several trades,” Gale holds a bachelor’s degree in health education from Herbert H. Lehman College in Bronx, New York, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education (Spanish). Along with being a licensed practical nurse, Gale is a certified elementary teacher, having earned her teaching certification and master’s degree in teacher development and educational studies from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Gale also obtained a Microsoft Professional Development Certificate from Baker College in Auburn Hills, Michigan. 

Her heart to help, inspire, and mentor birthed two mentoring groups. Gale established Daughters of Destiny and Brothers with a Purpose in 2005 and 2012 respectively. Along with her mentoring programs, Gale penned Beams from Heaven, a book of poetry detailing valuable lessons learned from Gale’s life to motivate, encourage and inspire readers. New is a 2nd book Fun with Colors just out in October 2020. Fun with Shapes En Espanol Y Ingles May 2021 and Beginner ASL Language with English Alphabet Sept 2021. As a wife, mother, mentor and educator, Gale’s flair for teaching and mentoring vividly expresses how her life is unequivocally not in vain.

Gale resides in Michigan with her husband of 45 years, Dr. Ronald Dalton, Senior pastor of New Life Assembly in Southfield, Michigan. Their union brought forth seven children (6 boys and 1 daughter and 15 grandchildren.
